We’re down to the last couple weeks before we head out of Houston towards New England. It seems there is a longer list of things to do now than there has been in the past 6 months, with a fraction of any reasonable amount of time left to get it all done! Amidst website polishing for Melody’s business and outfitting her new travel trailer to be a mobile office, and all of the seemingly endless maintenance needs of the RV… there’s barely any free time left to sell nearly everything from the apartment, and pack what we don’t sell into a small storage unit.

A few highlights along the way, that I may even blog about include, but are not at all limited to:

  • Replacing a key part of the RV toilet which prevents us from using ANY water while it’s broken.
  • Vacuum packing all of my sewing supplies to either fit in the RV or sit in storage for the summer.
  • Planning the migration of our home server (media & backups) to it’s new home near Washington DC
  • Actually planning the route and time table for the trip!

All this while my day job keeps rolling along at a seemingly increasing pace all along.  It’s going to be a very busy next few weeks alright.
