The decision to spend September and October in Maine was an easy one. Visions of autumn leaves and pumpkin patches danced in my head along with dreams of hayrides, corn mazes and apple orchards. Once we arrived in Bangor, Maine and set up the RV and trailer at a place called Pumpkin Patch RV park (had to be!) we didn\u2019t have to look far to find a place that encompassed my every autumnal desire in one location. Treworgy Farms offers a fall paradise to all of its visitors and we were very lucky to take part in the festivities this past season. They actually have a hay ride that drops you off at the pumpkin patch, corn maze or apple orchard!<\/p>\n

Our first stop was the rolling fields of pumpkins for as far as the eye could see. You can roam along the patch searching for the perfect orange jack o\u2019 lantern candidate or select one of the lovely white pumpkins for a more sophisticated table decoration. Hazen decided on a group of choice gourds in a variety of colors!<\/p>\n

After the pumpkins, we chose to walk to the corn maze by way of the long lines of stately apple trees, branches bowing from the heavy crop nearly ready for reaping. Each tree in the orchard boasted lovely blossoming flowers along their curving branches and bunches of apples had already begun to drop to the ground of their own accord. Plenty of trees in the front of the farm, offering a variety of species, were designated for pick your own.<\/p>\n

Our final destination was Treworgy\u2019s impressive corn maze \u2013 one of the largest in the area \u2013 which changes designs annually. We were thrilled to wander through a giant dragon soon to be felled by a brave corn knight. The family store displayed aerial photos of the maze on hand so visitors can truly marvel at the masterpiece. We left Terworgy with delicious apple cider donuts in hand, more pumpkins than we could carry and tons of fun autumn memories. This place really has it all!<\/p>\n
