We will be there this coming up weekend and have reserved two pontoon boats for the day. Iguess if you get tired of sitting back at camp, then the lake is definatley a great gettaway. The dirt being so fine and getting into EVERYTHING is annoying enough, even if the heat wouldn't be typical. Also, the swimming or lack of could be dealt with but, again, you're just resting in a fine dirt that just gets in and on everything, with people jammed elbow to elbow practically. It is my wife and I's favorite lake to go to.. We have never camped there but we will this 4th of July weekend.. We have a small boat without "No Fear" stickers we go out fishing in and then we bring our smoker so we will have fresh smoked fish.
