We will be there this coming up weekend and have reserved two pontoon boats for the day. Iguess if you get tired of sitting back at camp, then the lake is definatley a great gettaway. It is my wife and I's favorite lake to go to.. We have never camped there but we will this 4th of July weekend.. We have a small boat without "No Fear" stickers we go out fishing in and then we bring our smoker so we will have fresh smoked fish. I think Lake Piru deserves a second change from you guys..maybe rent a little boat and enjoy the day in the water.... Kolja I am sad you had a bad experience at Piru lake..
